SMS / Messaging Terms

These SMS Terms & Conditions ("SMS Terms") apply to the text message (SMS) program operated by Karate Crissi and its family of brands ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by SCS Martial Arts & Fitness (7980 American Way, Robertsdale, AL 36567, USA). By opting in, you agree to these SMS Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Terms of Service.

1. Program description

When you opt in to our text messaging program, you may receive messages such as app notifications (from My Brain Planner, Parts & Rec, Ring Command, or our other apps) and class and event reminders (including schedules, updates, and cancellations) for programs you have signed up for. These are account, transactional, and service-related messages tied to the services you've requested.

2. How you opt in (consent)

You provide your consent to receive text messages by submitting your mobile phone number through one of our sign-up forms, account settings, or by otherwise requesting messages from us, and by agreeing to receive texts at that point. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Your mobile phone number is collected and used solely to deliver the messages you've requested.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity, the apps and programs you use, and your reminder settings.

4. Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. We do not charge for the messages themselves, but your carrier's standard rates may apply.

5. Opting out

You can cancel the SMS program at any time by texting STOP to the number from which you received messages. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation message, and you will not receive any further texts unless you opt in again. You can also adjust notification settings within the relevant app or contact us directly.

6. Getting help

7. Supported carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy. No mobile information (including your phone number and SMS opt-in or consent) will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared only with service providers who help us deliver the messaging program (such as our messaging platform), and only to provide that service. 9. Changes to these SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, and we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
